Overview:
This 3-day photo trip will take you through Queen Elizabeth National Park, with a variety of different species of wildlife and boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel. Queen Elizabeth National Park is definitely among the Uganda’s most visited park with large numbers of wildlife featuring leopards, chimpanzees, hippos, African elephants and Cape Buffaloes being a great deal for Wildlife photographers. This trip is guided by Hillary, a local tour operator and a photographer who knows different aspects of light and angles.

Day 1. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Breakfast for day one will be provided at the hotel or your place of residence, followed by a meet, greet and briefing on the 3 days Queen Elizabeth Tour by Hillary your driver. There will be a number of stopovers including at the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe along Masaka road. Here you will be able to stand in both the northern and southern hemispheres and also experiment how water swirls in different directions when placed in the northern and southern hemispheres. Take photos and even buy some of the beautiful souvenirs. Head straight to lodge.

Day 2. Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Start the day with early game drives that expose us to diverse animals including the Big Five; elephants, buffaloes, big cats like lions and leopards. More times in the evening, warthogs, hunchback carnivals like hyenas are spotted along the circuits as we drive along, and many more species that are residents to this park. There is a rich birdlife especially our version of storks in the wetland spots as we reach the flamingos in the salt lakes at Kasenyi.
Enjoy a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel, a 36km channel linking Lake George and Lake Edward. Here you’ll see land and water adapted hippos yawning, the Nile crocodile, gaping along the banks and savannah version of pigs, the warthog-Pumba are a hallmark sign in this animal home. With your binoculars along the peninsula, you’ll have a magnificent view of birds and animals like the ever-playing African elephants in waters.

Day 3. Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Entebbe International Airport
This morning, you’ll go on chimps trekking in Kalinzu Forest. Enjoy the walk through the forest and the fascinating meeting with the chimpanzees. After the trek, embark on the drive back to Kampala with a stopover for lunch in Mbarara and photos at the equator. Drive back through to Kampala as we have reached the end of the 3 days Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari tour in Uganda. Arrive Kampala or Entebbe in the evening.
