Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport & Transfer to Bwindi

Our guide will pick you up from Kigali International Airport, Rwanda and be driven to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. Enjoy scenic views of the Rwandan and Ugandan countryside enroute.

Accommodation: Overnight at Haven lodge.

 

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you will drive/walk with packed lunch from the lodge to the starting point where briefing by the park rangers is given before setting off for gorilla tracking in the dense rainforest.

You will spend an hour with the mountain gorillas, observing and photographing these incredible primates in their natural habitat. The tracking can take 2-8 hours depending to how far the gorillas have moved therefore it is advisable to be flexible. However, encountering them is absolutely unforgettable experience of a life time and leaves a unique story with you.

Evening: Relax and recover from the trek at your lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Evening Game Drive

After a morning breakfast, depart Bwindi and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park is savanna with various bird species, mammals and unique biodiversity offering travellers a great chance of photography and sight seeing. You will arrive at the park by afternoon and embark on an evening game drive. Look out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, antelopes and various bird species.

Accommodation: Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

 

Day 4: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Cruise

After an early morning breakfast, enjoy the game drive at the crack of dawn when animals are most active. Explore the Kasenyi plains, where lions and other cats are often spotted hunting. After the session, you will be back to the lodge for your lunch.Take a relaxing boat cruise in the afternoon on the famous Kazinga Channel, which is known for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. The channel is a 32 km long joining the lakes Edward and George.

Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe for Your Evening Flight

After your breakfast, you will be required to checkout and depart from Queen Elizabeth National Park and begin your journey to Entebbe. Depending on your flight time, you will have a stopover at the equator in Masaka for photos and your lunch before proceeding the journey. You will arrive in Entebbe in time for your evening flight.
