Our 4-day trip brings you the highlight of Uganda: Tracking the Mountain Gorillas!
Spend one hour with our very close relatives in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
The mountain gorillas are highly endangered and there are only 1,063 animals left, in 3 national parks, covering 3 countries: Bwindi in Uganda and the Virunga Mountains in Uganda (Mgahinga National Park), Rwanda (Volcanoes National Park) and Congo (Virunga National Park). Trek the Golden monkeys.

  • Day 1: Arrival at the Airport

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by your guide, briefed about your upcoming journey and drive to Uganda to your lodge for an overninght.

  • Day 2: Golden Monkey trekking

After morning breakfast, drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for Golden Monkey trekking, upon sighting, stay with them for an hour and later drive back to the hotel.

  • Day 3: Gorilla trekking

Dawn breaks with anticipation as you embark on an unforgettable gorilla tracking expedition, delving deep into the heart of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Encounter these gentle giants in their natural habitat, forging memories to last a lifetime. In the afternoon, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

  • Day 4: Boat cruise and transfer to Kigali

After breakfast, head for a boat cruise on the second deepest lake in Africa where you will be able to visit the famous punishment Island as well as birding around the lake.
After the boat cruise, drive to Kigali for your evening flight. If time allows, you will do a city tour around Kigali tour. End
